Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  3.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 8 - 66 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Ryukyu Islands (Ref. 559) and the South China Sea. Recently recorded from the Chesterfield Islands (Ref. 11897).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found among Acropora spp. Monogamous (Ref. 52884).

Threat to humans:  harmless
