Family:  Zenarchopteridae (Internally fertilized halfbeaks)
Max. size:  5.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; brackish; pH range: 6 - 6.5; dH range: 5; depth range - 0 m
Distribution:  Asia: Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Can be distinguished by having anal fin origin under dorsal-fin rays 811, 46-61 predorsal scales and 41-44 vertebrae (Ref. 26761).
Biology:  Females bear live young (Ref. 58777).
