Adults occur sympatrically with C. labridens. Inhabits rivers and lagoons. They eed on other smaller fishes, aquatic insects, algae and other invertebrates. They are omnivores, egg layers, and need plant and rock cover. They are not easy to raise in tanks (Ref. 6398). |
