Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: South Korea.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 5-5; Vertebrae: 47-49. Dense dark small spots with orange background on body; caudal fin round marginally (Ref. 42956).
Biology:  Found on pebbly bottom of slow-flowing shallow streams (Ref. 42956). Feeds on aquatic insects (Ref. 42956).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 12 January 2023 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
