Max. size:  23.1 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Ruwenzori area, Mubuku and Sibwe Rivers systems.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in fast turbulent water with many boulders behind which the fishes take shelter (Ref. 2801).
IUCN Red List Status: Vulnerable (VU); Date assessed: 23 August 2021 (D2) Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
