Distribution:  Central America: Pacific slope of Panama and Costa Rica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits tidal freshwater. Collected from white water streams, with boulder and rubble, and sand and mud substrates; no or little vegetation (Ref. 57711).

Threat to humans:  harmless
