Distribution:  Asia: China, Korea and Amur river basin.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-8; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 9-12
Biology:  Inhabits rivers (Ref. 26334) and lakes (Ref. 41072). Usually found in rivers with slow current (Ref. 51717). Feeds on aquatic insect larvae and flying terrestrial insects (Ref. 41072).
