Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 35 - 45 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: known only from the Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman, Australia (Ref. 11432) and Viet Nam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-8; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 9-9. Caudal fin rounded.
Biology:  Possibly associated with a sessile invertebrate.
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 19 June 2017 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
