Max. size:  7.3 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: endemic to Nepal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in streams (Ref. 12045), common in hill-stream (Ref. 6351). Found in mountain rapids (Ref. 41236).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 21 December 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
