Max. size:  78.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 844 - 856 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 221-221. This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: total vertebrae 221; mandible pores 7; lateral-line pores anterior to pectoral-fin base 18; upper and lateral surfaces of snout smooth without papillae (Ref. 116659).
