Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Khe Khang stream of Lam river basin in Pu Mat national park, Nghe An province, Vietnam.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-9; Anal soft rays: 7-7. Distinguished from its congeners by having 26-29 scales on lateral line and 8 branch rays on first dorsal fin (Ref. 91061).
Biology:  Occurs in slow flowing streams and swamp (Ref. 91061).
