Description: Characterized by complex pattern of brown stripes and bars and white blotches; brown and white spots on dorsal fin, pale-edged blackish spot anteriorly; occasionally golden brown with faint hint of bars, stripes and blotches; oblique scale rows usually 58-69; length of upper jaw 64-87.8 % of head length, extending about 1.1-2.4 eye diameter behind rear margin of orbit; depth of body 3.0-6.2 in SL (Ref. 90102). | |||
