This species is distinguished by the following set of characters: posterior chamber of swim bladder developed, presence of color pattern, tip of pelvic fin not reaching anus, dorsal-fin origin slightly posterior to pelvic-fin origin, six branched pelvic-fin rays, more numerous, better developed inner gill rakers on the first gill arch (Ref. 137456). | |||
