Max. size:  18.44 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Malay Peninsula (from Trang southwards), Borneo (Kapuas, Sarawak) and Sumatra (Batang Hari).
Diagnosis:  Body deep; snout high and rounded; a midlateral stripe distinct only posteriorly; and dorsal and anal fins long and falcate (Ref. 81211).
