Lateral line configuration double with ventral and mediolateral branches, the latter originating above middle of pectoral fin. Abdomen and predorsal area without scales. Pectoral fin length 12-15.5% SL. Mouth subterminal (Ref. 47926). | |||
| Biology: | Fecundity very low. Ovary of a ripe female (25 cm SL) contains 10 eggs (6.5 mm in diameter) (Ref. 47926). Maximum depth from holotype record (Ref. 51665). Minimum depth from Ref. 58018. | |||
