| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 9-11; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-14; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 12-14; Vertebrae: 26-26. Pelvic fins totally united into rounded disk. First dorsal high, greyish; spots and elongate spines absent; when appressed reaching D2 origin. Second dorsal with dusky stripe mesially; whitish spots medial to this stripe. Caudal fin blackish medially. Anal fin translucent, spots and stripes absent (Ref. 35996). | |||
| Biology: | Known from the intertidal mudflat of the Suir river of Tebing Tinggi I., Sumatra. Associated with Periophthalmus novemradiatus and P. gracilis (Ref. 35996). | |||
