Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Ubangi and Uélé (middle Congo River basin) in Central African Republic and Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 1880, 45441). Also reported from the Canhicuna River (Chiumbe River tributary, Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) in Angola (Ref. 11970).
