Max. size:  22 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: endemic to Lake Dali or Er Hai or Lake Tali Fu in Yunnan, China.
Diagnosis:  Has long barbels and well developed submarginal stripes on the caudal fin lobes; with relatively small fins, particularly the caudal fin.
