Max. size:  25 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 45 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Virginia to southern Florida in USA and northern and eastern Gulf of Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits shallow-water bays.
