Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 30 - 180 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: northern coast of Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Oviparous (Ref. 50449). Eggs have horn-like projections on the shell (Ref. 205).
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 01 March 2007 Ref. (123251)
