Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed); max. reported age: 5 years
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  North America: Upper Gila River system in New Mexico and Arizona, USA; and San Pedro River in Arizona, USA and northern Sonora, Mexico.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in rocky, often vegetated, riffles of creeks and small to medium rivers (Ref. 86798).
