Max. size:  2.3 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  bathydemersal; marine; depth range 92 - 596 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Arrowsmith Bank, Caribbean Sea.
Diagnosis:  Distinguished by the following characteristics: first dorsal fin possesses 6-7 spines; body completely scaled; caudal fin base with 2 basicaudal scales; pelvic fins completely separate; lacking head pores (Ref. 92840).
Biology:  Known specimens were trawled from deep water (92-596m), along the edge of the bank, which consists of hard substrate (Ref. 92840).
