Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: Cyprininae
Max. size:  8.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: underground stream in Tian'e, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal soft rays: 8-8. No externally visible eyes; depigmented (Ref. 44736), scales small with most of them embedded; horn forked on tip; and snout duck-billed (Ref. 86777).
Biology:  Troglobite (Ref. 86777).
