Max. size:  4.7 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 12-12; Anal soft rays: 8-8; Vertebrae: 39-39. Distinguished from all congeners, but is similar to Sinocyclocheilus macrolepis and Sinocyclocheilus macroscalus, by having no frontlet, scales and complete lateral line (Ref. 81095).
Biology:  Inhabits cave (Ref. 81095).
