Max. size:  14.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 11 - 113 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Gulf of California to Panama.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 93-104; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 77-88; Vertebrae: 50-53
Biology:  Probably taken as bycatch of trawl fisheries (Ref. 9294).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 30 October 2020 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
