Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 9 - 162 m
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Mexico to Peru.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 102-112; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 85-93; Vertebrae: 54-58
Biology:  Probably taken as bycatch of trawl fisheries (Ref. 9294).
