Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 7 - 190 m
Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: southeastern Brazil to central Argentina.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 86-93; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 72-78
Biology:  Sexual maturity of females at approximately 7 to 8 cm. Minimum depth reported from Ref. 26268.
