Max. size:  14 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Central America: Atlantic slope, in the upper Usumacinta River basin in Guatemala, and Belize.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits both lakes and lower valley rivers, preferring sandy or soft bottoms with small rocks.
