Distribution:  Asia: Gansu Province, China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 2-2; Anal soft rays: 5-5; Vertebrae: 37-38. Body elongated, cylindrical, snout bluntly pointed, peduncle of caudal compressed; snout subequal to postorbital part of head; barbels 6. Scales minute, invisible, only present on peduncle of caudal. Air bladder entirely enclosed in bony capsule. Without a free portion in abdominal cavity.
