Family:  Urotrygonidae (American round stingrays)
Max. size:  34.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: from northern Peru to Colombia.
Biology:  Occurs in coastal shallow water in estuaries, mangrove swamps and to at least 20 m depth (Ref. 114953).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 01 March 2007 Ref. (123251)
