Max. size:  55 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range - 50 m
Distribution:  Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Australia, from southern Western Australia to Victoria.
Biology:  Found on coastal reefs (Ref. 9563).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 17 July 2017 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known only from limital area. Kangaroo Island, Southern Australia to Rottnest Island, Western Australia (Ref. 75154). Also Ref. 9563.
