Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: Labeoninae
Max. size:  17.2 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Pakistan and India. Very similar to Bangana dero, with which it is commonly confused.
