Max. size:  12 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  South America: coastal rivers between the Orinoco and Amazon mouths.
Biology:  Frequently occurs in creeks where it plays the role of a typical bottom cleaner, possessing a broad food spectrum (Ref. 27188). Maximum length reported to reach 15 cm SL (Ref. 27188).
