Distribution:  Eastern Central Pacific: Tahiti, French Polynesia, Pitcairn and Cook Islands.
Biology:  Feeds on algae and benthic invertebrates (Ref. 89972).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 03 July 2015 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
