Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 6 - 30 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: Canary Islands, Cape Verde and Senegal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits at rock outcroppings with large expanses of sand between (Ref. 92840).

Country info:  Type locality: Isla Gran Canaria, outcrop off s. shore between Puerto Rico Harbor and the Barranco de Balito, Canary Is., 15 m (Ref. 26282). Known from Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Tenerife (Ref. 6808). Also Ref. 5299, 092840.
