Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
Max. size:  4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 7 - 26 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: North Carolina and southern Florida in USA and Jamaica to Central America.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Lives in tubular sponges. Also found in coral reefs; depths of 18-25 m (Ref. 26938).
