Country info:  Occurs in the Mekong River system in Yunnan (Ref. 38630, 13848). Also found in the Red River (Ref. 26563). Type locality: His-Shuan-Pan-Na (=Xishuangbanna), Yunnan (Ref. 33021). Known from Yunnan Province: ( Xishuangbanna, Baoshan, Hekou,Yuanjiang)(Ref.45620). Also Ref. 33250.
