Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 8 - 50 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Lesser Antilles.
Diagnosis:  Distinguished by the following characteristics: small; lack scales; possess VII spines in the first dorsal; no head or opercle pores; ventral fins completely separate (Ref. 92840).
Biology:  Inhabits sandy bottoms in coral-reef habitats (Ref. 92840).
