Country info:  Type locality, Qinhuangdao, Shan-Hai-Kuan and Pei-Tai-Ho, Hebei Province, NRM 10621 (syntypes of Gobius petschiliensis, 4:5.68-8.0 cm SL). Examined specimens collected from the Yellow Sea coast of Zhejiang and Hebei provinces (Ref. 81467).
