Additional Characters Eggs are attached in large clusters, primarily on seaweed and eelgrass (Ref. 35601). Eggs normally hatch in about 10 days (Ref. 27547), at 5.6-7.5 mm, yolk is absorbed at 9-10 mm SL (Ref. 265). No oil globules (Ref. 265). Presence of a wide perivitelline space (Ref. 265). Yolk is segmented (Ref. 265).
