Additional Characters | Eggs are oblong capsules with stiff pointed horns at the corners deposited in sandy or muddy flats (Ref. 205). Egg capsules are 7.0-13.2 cm long and 4.6-2.7 cm wide (Ref. 41249, 41301, 41306, 41307, 7135). At Chesapeake Bight, egg capsules measure 12.4-13.2 cm long and 6.8-7.2 cm wide (Ref. 7135). |
