Additional Characters Yolk is segmented (Ref. 265). Envelope has pustules (pronounced raised bumps on inner surface) (Ref. 265). Oil globule is located at the vegetal pole (Ref. 265). Diagnostic characters: Pustules more pronounced than in bathylagid eggs (Ref. 265). Pigment is present on the nape, anterior trunk, gut terminus and tip of tail of embryo (Ref. 35603).
