Additional Characters Eggs covered with gelatinuous threads upon being extruded adhere to undersurface stones. Each egg reveals the presence of a whole tuft of adhesive threads arranged in a circle around one pole, the tuft forming a funnel-like structure. Under laboratory conditions, eggs hatch in about 1 to 2 days (Ref. 110258).
