Comments: Although this species spawn only once each season (Ref. 28736), the season is probably extended as ripe male and female fish are present in north Queensland as late as April and May (Ref. 6390). Spawning ground is unknown. Adults spawn in inshore waters and estuaries when salinities rise after wet season flooding (Williams 1997). mod: 681,221 eggs (Ref. 28736)
