Description synthétique Morphologie | Morphométrie

Épines dorsales (Total): 6; Rayons mous dorsaux (Total): 34-41; Épines anales 1; Rayons mous anaux: 32 - 39; Vertèbres: 27. Eyes rudimentary but distinct, covered by skin. Mouth oblique. Several short barbels may be present on underside of chin. Pectoral -fin rays free and silk-like. Three anal fin pterygiophores preceding first haemal spine. Cycloid scales embedded on head and body. Caudal fin very long (Ref. 45323).
