Short description Morfología | Morfometría

Espinas dorsales (total): 6 - 7; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 9-12; Espinas anales 1; Radios blandos anales: 8 - 10; Vértebra: 32 - 33. This species is characterized by the following: scales in longitudinal series 61-67, transverse series 20-22, predorsal scales 17-24; a pair of sensory papillae in row f; modal ray count of second dorsal fin I,10; modal AP 2; modal vertebrae count 14+18; dorsal fins light brown with distinct dark-brown with wavy longitudinal bands; caudal and pectoral fins light brown with distinct dark-brown transverse bands; body and head light brown with approximately 6 broad, dark transverse bands; caudal fin base with several small, black spots and distinct blotch (Ref. 81467).
