পৃষ্ঠীয় নরম পাখনা দন্ড (মোট ): 8-9; পায়ূর নরম পাখনা্তুন্ড: 7 - 9. Darkly pigmented (mottled flanks) than congeners in the adjacent basins. Caudal fin abbreviate, nearly always shorter than the caudal peduncle (Ref. 49525).
