Espinas dorsales (total): 7; Radios blandos dorsales (total): 8; Espinas anales 1; Radios blandos anales: 9; Vértebra: 26. This species is distinct in having a dusky chin, without dusky vertical bars on the body; largely separated pelvic fins; and wide gill opening (ref. 75138).
