Dorsal spines (total): 3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 15-16; Anal spines: 1; Anal soft rays: 8; Vertebrae: 28 - 2. This species is distinguished by the following characters: first gill arch with 17-19 rakers; eye diameter is equal or greater than width of suborbital bone; caudal peduncle depth more than two times in its length; vertebrae 28-29, of them trunk 12-13; no spurs on haemal arch of first caudal vertebra; D III,15-16; A I,8, soft rays in ventral fin 7; ventral fin under or beyond vertical of posterior margin of pectoral fin insertion; anal fin begins under vertical of last ray of dorsal fin or beyond this vertical (Ref. 117111).
