| Description |
The East Brazil LME is characterised by a narrow shelf, varying from 20 to 50 km and sometimes to 90 km in width, with the exception of the Abrolhos Bank located in the southern portion of the ecosystem. It includes the region from the Parnai'ba estuary in the north to Cape Sao Tome' in the south (http://www.na.nmfs.gov/lme/text/lme16.htm). |
